E-bike rental at the Zaanse Schans

The Zaan region is flat, so an e-bike isn't a must. But it is lovely: you ride further, stay fresher and keep pace with the group more easily. On the Cocoa Route in particular, or if you want to make a full day of it, an electric bike gives you that little bit extra so cycling stays pure enjoyment.

On request and limited availability

We have a limited number of e-bikes, so booking is really recommended for an electric bike. Ask when you reserve and we'll see what we can set out for your day. Full is full — first to book rides electric.

Who is it for?

An e-bike is ideal if you want to ride longer distances, are a little less trained, or simply want to enjoy in comfort without worrying about the kilometres. Torn between a regular bike and an e-bike? E-mail us, we're glad to help.

Payment

As with our other bikes, you pay in cash at the desk. There's no card machine at the rental, so bring enough cash.
